Genesis 14:1-24 "The Battle of the Nine Kings"

Five pagan kings who lived around the Dead Sea rebelled against four pagan kings from outside that land… so a Battle of Nine Kings resulted. Lot was captured as he dwelt in Sodom (one of the cities that rebelled), and Abram rescued Lot with a miraculous victory that testified of God's hand upon Abram. After Abram's 318 trained soldiers drove the invaders out of the land, Abram was met by two kings: the king of Sodom and the King of Salem Melchizedek. And Abram would need to decide to whom his allegiance would be.
