John's vision at the end of Chapter 11 is of the Seventh Trumpet which contains seven bowls which are the final seven judgments of God's wrath (as seen in Rev 16). But with the blowing of this seventh trumpet, John sees a heavenly scene of worship over Jesus' coming reign. Chapter 12 begins introducing three of seven characters throughout biblical history, who will be prominent in the Tribulation the woman (Israel), the child (Jesus Christ), and the dragon (Satan).
