Genesis 11:1-32 "The Tower of Babel"

Genesis 11 is the final chapter focusing on "Primeval History" which focuses on the origins of the universe, life, the fall, the first Gospel prediction, the world in chaos from man’s sin, the flood, and ends with life after the flood culminating at the Tower of Babel. It was here that God confused languages to accomplish His will for mankind to "multiply, and fill the earth." (Gen 9:1) The people of Babel rebelled against God's command, and thought to establish themselves apart from God, which repeatedly has happened throughout history in nations, cities, and individual lives.
